I had so much fun at werewolf torts that I laughed so hard, I missed what some of the questions were, so thanks for this post :D (I totally missed half of what the NMJ question was even about.)
Somehow this led to the conclusion that Fleur Delacour could sue Hogwarts but Lupin can't, though I have to admit I forgot the exact context for that.
As I recall, the context was:
-EU privacy law and the right to be forgotten -suing organizations for privacy protection reasons -Lupin could sue Snape/Hogwarts for telling people he's a werewolf -but Brexit -so after Brexit, Lupin isn't an EU citizen and can't sue Hogwarts under EU law -Fleur remains an EU citizen and can sue them
