Magic swords
We watched a few more episodes of Word of Honor (up to episode 16 now) and I'm glad that I finally found a character I like. Look, extremely competent sort-of-outsider troll, dressed in white, attached to infuriating people almost against their will but definitely not admitting to it – Ye Bai Yi and Lin Chen would either be best friends or be unable to stand each other. Probably the latter, except when united against a common enemy, i.e. stupid people.
I also enjoy Ye Bai Yi because he likes to annoy Wen Ke Xing, and the only times I almost like Wen Ke Xing is when he's not very smug for a change. Which thankfully has been happening more often. He fucked up, more than once, and realized it. (Zhou Zi Shou almost leaves multiple times, but every time Wen Ke Xing fights for/with him he gives him another chance…) Still a hypocrite though.
I'm also baffled that there were barely any reactions to Zhou Zi Shu changing his face. The sect leaders didn't say anything! Chenglin barely said anything! What.
I'm still not sure if I'd say I like it, but I'm sufficiently interested to want to keep watching.
Today we didn't watch more though because now that my exams are over for this semester I can finally play new games! (I was worried that starting a new game would distract me from studying too much.) I started Transistor, which took me a little bit longer to get into than Supergiant's other games but three hours in I'm enjoying it. I just defeated the giant spine (?) and have started communicating with one of the Camerata, curious where that will lead.
