Leverage: Redemption
That was a lot of fun! Exactly what I hoped for in a continuation. I liked the way they handled the time skip. The OT3 is still together <3 even when in physically different locations. Hardison not being here for the whole season is a shame, but I like how they did it. The team dynamic without Nate, the mastermind, works so well because they all know each other so well, they don't need a mastermind any longer. (Having many more allies in different locations/with different skills helps, of course.) And they have two newbies! I enjoyed both of them a lot. Brianna is great, and I like Harry too - I'm delighted that they have a lawyer now xD
As for the jobs, some of them were ridiculous but I didn't much care. (The resolution to "Searchlight" was unsatisfying but tbf not sure what they should have done.)
Highlight of the season: Eliot jousting in costume on a "dragon" :D
I was very happy to find out that there's more episodes coming out later this year!
I also convinced DD to check out some of the original Leverage episodes. One of the things she loved most about the new episodes was the found family and team feelings, which develop slowly. It's been a while since I watched the early episodes, so I'd appreciate suggestions which episodes to show her.
Quote DD: "I also generally don't like heist movies, but when it's wrapped in a package of sticking it to the man - eat the rich - I can get behind it."
