Some whatever
The longer I don't post here the harder it is, so. Some whatever.
I finally turned on the heating in my apartment after I happened to look at the thermostat on Friday and realized that 15°C is definitely too low. It's between 18°C and 19°C now, which suits me fine, especially since I'm already very used to wearing wool socks and my favorite colorful wool jacket at home.
It's 23°C at the office, which is a stark contrast, maybe I can negotiate with my colleague to lower it a little.
I made myself go for a slightly longer walk this weekend and was absurdly proud of myself. I'm annoyed at myself that I've mostly stopped doing any sports at all, irregular walks uphill are basically all of it. Unfortunately starting a sports routine in fall/winter is difficult, and especially because my knees didn't like running recently and there's no great place to run on not-concrete nearby. I'll have to figure out something else.
I'm still barely cooking. However, the new job LB will be starting in early December happens to be five minutes from my place, so we've already talked about him coming over after work so we can cook dinner together sometimes, that would be nice. I'm still having digestion issues sometimes which is very annoying, I really need to track that better so I can narrow it down to specific foodstuffs.
I've had some periods of high anxiety after the US election results, and it still happens now and again, but I'm trying to keep calm and not become (too) pessimistic. Weirdly enough one of my first reactions was "I really need to finish my exams;" on second thought that kind of makes sense because once I've finished my exams I'll have a lot more time and energy, and also money, to focus on other things. Just a few more years. In the meantime, I think I'd like to do more writing, fingers crossed.
