After "Foundryside" and "City of Stairs" this is the third time I really enjoyed the beginning of one of his series but didn't finish them (City of Miracles I just forgot, and they never got the sequels to Foundryside at the library); maybe I'll have better luck with this one. They're not "I feel the urge to recommend them to everyone"-amazing but they're very good.
