The official translation reads much more smoothly than the initial fan translation, thankfully! Although there are parts of it where I felt it would have benefited from an additional footnote. (Nobody I read the official translation with actually realized Liu Mingyan was writing fanfic of Bingqiu, for instance).

Hope you enjoy it if you do end up giving it another shot!
