Lost Girl 4x04 Turn to Stone

I really like this season so far! It still has some of the same good things I love and things that I'm a bit annoyed by, with some really interesting things developing.

Kenzi, how much do I love you? I loved that she got angry at Bo and pointed out how hard it was for her without Bo (Kenzi most likely still remembers the entire reality where Bo never existed), that she confesses to kissing Dyson (under amnesia) and stealing from their friends and is so grateful that Bo is back and when Bo brings up family first, that now she can feel more secure again. And her big brother Dyson <3 But she likes Lauren too, a bit, and she's just generally great.

Lauren! Who was a terrorist! It's great to finally get a bit of her backstory. I'm very curious about her brother. She just can't catch a break :( That moment where she realized that Crystal did to her what she did to Bo, I just wanted to hug her. But she doesn't give up, she bends but doesn't break. I really want her to have a happy ending.

Tamsin with wings! Worried no-one will like her, awww. And big brother Dyson. (Uh, Dyson, I'm pretty sure Bo and Lauren are no longer together. Just saying.)

Just as Tamsin might be edging closer to unaligned, Bo chose a side, hah!
Bo's guidelines have basically two parts: "if you're innocent I'll protect you" - which is not a fae thing to do at all - and "if you cross me and mine I'll kill you" - which is more Dark than Light, especially with her disregard for rules. Idk what the "your blood reveals" means, probably just something to disturb her.

Bo, darling! Impulsive and reckless as ever. I'm sorry, but you do actually have to care about politics! Walking directly into their stronghold, not knowing anything about them, was just stupid. You have so many people who could advise you, just listen to them for once! And a bit more empathy with the danger Kenzi is in because she's human wouldn't go amiss. She still thinks she can take on anyone and anything even though she's just been kidnapped and her memory wiped and she has no idea by whom and how to prevent it. I'm not sure what it would take to see her genuinely humbled, but she could probably use it. A bit.

No Hale, no Trick, no Vex, no Morrigan... Hopefully next episode? They do have a lot of characters. But these tend to go along with fae politics, and I wish there was more of that right now. I'm sure it'll come back with the fae elder holding Lauren captive, and the Gargoyles following Bo. Massimo's ending was a bit disappointing, but whatever, I never cared for him anyway.
