I wrote fic for downjune for Hockey Festivus:
Stick Your Head Out
Gen, 2.9k, magic AU
Characters: Phil Kessel, Evgeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins ensemble
Summary: Phil wasn't sure how well he'd fit in with his new team. Rumors around the league said that Malkin was a bear, and he didn't know what else they had in the locker room.

I turned the Penguins into magical creatures because it was fun. I'm not sure which one is my favorite, probably Dana Heinzelmann, or Phil or Geno or Flower. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and it's one of my most popular fics so far, which was a nice surprise. Many thanks to snickfic, who made me add a crucial scene.
