I think he'd be in an active, attacking role, rather than defense. Probably competing with Sheppard a bit, but at heart a better team player than John. Satedan hockey might have involved elements of 'catch the flag' in its rules, so Ronon thinks Earth hockey's a little tame with just the puck or ball and goals, and no colored flag trophies to grab from the other team's belts as well, along the way. :)
