Random SGA&hockey question

Who would be Ronon Dex' favorite hockey player? A few years ago maybe Iginla, but now... maybe Ovi? Shea Weber? Jamie Benn? Sid?

My first instinct is that Ronon plays forward, but I could see defense as well. Satedan hockey probably worked a bit differently anyway, maybe a mix between Earth hockey and bandy.

Well, what type of player/position do you think he would be most interested in? Flashy goal scorer, powerful shot, best defensemen?
(We didn't see much of Sateda, but they were probably at least as if not more likely to have field hockey than ice hockey. Creative license ^^)

I think he'd be in an active, attacking role, rather than defense. Probably competing with Sheppard a bit, but at heart a better team player than John. Satedan hockey might have involved elements of 'catch the flag' in its rules, so Ronon thinks Earth hockey's a little tame with just the puck or ball and goals, and no colored flag trophies to grab from the other team's belts as well, along the way. :)

Ooh, hockey with "catch the flag" elements! Maybe every player had three "flags" somewhere on their uniform and if they lost all three they had to leave the game? Penalty = forfeit one flag. Earth players are surprised Ronon is so good at both avoiding and initiating checks.
