Game Masters of Exandria

It's been several months since I regularly watched Critical Role. I started watching ExU: Calamity after I saw the enthusiastic reactions, but stopped after less than two hours because I realized I'm not really in the mood for it and if it's really that great then watching it at the wrong time would be a shame.

But I did watch and enjoy the recent Game Masters of Exandria Roundtable with Matt, Aabria and Brennan. (Major spoilers for Calamity, though they make limited sense without context.) A wonderful mix of interesting talk about DMing from three masters of the craft, and hilarious chaos.

Totally get saving ExU: Calamity for later. I'm really enjoying it, but I'm watching the final episode a bit at the time since it's A Lot. Definitely a game to watch when one is in the right headspace for it.

Really looking forward to seeing the Game Masters roundtable as soon as I'm caught up on everything else! I'm up-to-date on campaign 3 but stuck on ExU: Kymal of all things and I don't know why ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Afaik there were only very mild spoilers for ExU: Kymal (about locations visited) so you could watch the roundtable before if you don't mind that. But I might have missed something since I haven't seen ExU: Kymal either.

A Lot is the best way to describe calamity XD I find myself wishing they'd spread it out into more episodes so it wasn't quite so condensed.

Thank you, I thought it an apt summary XD Yeah, more episodes of Calamity would have been very welcome, because of how they had to squeeze So Much into the final episode. But what a ride it was still!

The GM's round table was so much fun! I laugh-cried multiple times once they got into the groove of things.
