SGA recs

I don't want to get sick :( I was doing so well running regularly in preparation for the marathon and now this. I also don't want it to get cold yet again, why, sunshine is pretty.

I'm in the middle of worldbuilding and plotting for sgareversebang and I'm quite excited about it - probably less when I actually start writing, whatever. One short Teyla fic I wanted to write got a lot more complicated and longer than I thought, I'll probably need to cut most of it.

To procrastinate, have some SGA recs I collected in the past few months.

A very enjoyable team gen story. Many nice little details, and it doesn't ignore everyone else in favor of John&Rodney friendship like some stories do. My only minor complaint is that the language Rodney speaks is completely different from what we know of canon Ancient, but it's probably funnier this way.

Recapture the dragon that is supposedly their last hope in defeating the Asurans. Rodney McKay and his team are back on their quest to capture the black dragon, Jhepard-shon. Shep though is determined not to be found... mostly because he is still recovering from the last attack
Dragons! An enjoyable AU, and I really liked the "now I will rescue you" friendship between John and Cam.

The Pegasus Expedition journeys to a distant archipelago where they find the beautiful deserted City of the Ancients, awaken the deadly Wraith fleets, and become entangled in the politics of the God-Kings and their City-States. Here, John and Rodney escape from the city of the Serpent-God in stolen Death Gliders.
This is gorgeous. I especially love the colors and all the details.

Astrid is doing dioramas now! :D This is one, she said she'll post more. Nice colors and composition and art as usual, and the 3D effect, though not perfect to see in a photograph, makes it even cooler.
