Summary: “Wait, wait, Scar?” Grian’s shrillness increased exponentially. “Hold on. I’d know if I had a child with Scar, why would I– why not Mumbo, at least we’ve had a few robots together, when would I have spawned a child with Scar?”
“On a server called 3rd Life, six months ago, according to the report,” you say.
Grian blinks at you. “I don’t even know what that is. Are you absolutely certain you aren’t mixing me up with another player?”
Why I love it: I love the outsider PoV of the weary bureaucrat who is so tired of famous players doing silly things like losing their kids and other shenanigans. That part is very fun, and the other side of it has delicious angst, great combo.
Interdimensional Post and the Hazards Thereof byKaesa, Hermitcraft

Summary: "What do you mean, is there a door?" she asks. "Are you saying there might not be a door?"
Tango makes an indistinct noise, high and worryingly vague. "There is... some possibility that some of the places we're sending you don't have... doors."
This seems a little concerning. "Why wouldn't they have --"
"Look, not every dimension comes pre-doorificated, sometimes you have to just -- you know. Adapt!"

The Hermitcraft Season 10 mail system reaches a lot farther than most people realize.
Why I like it: I love all the different places Pearl gets to, including very fun crossovers, and they span the wide range of feelings too. I also really enjoyed the postal crew in this.

or: Vampire AU Scarian with mutual noncon/dubcon because older vampires & Scar's sire in particular are, it turns out, not great! And then Cub fixes things. Arguably.
Why I like it: Mmm that is a delicious fucked up situation, very nice.
Spread the Sculk, Spread the Souls, Spread Your Legs by Anonymous, Hermitcraft

Summary: “Okay, maybe it’s a little contagious. But I have to say, it feels great. Do you want to try?”
And, okay, it’s not Cleo’s best decision making, they’ll be the first to admit it. They know that the sculk infestation is running rampant through the city, and they know they probably shouldn’t even be this near to Cub when he’s this far gone. But she’s a little curious.
Why I like it: Fun and good character voices.

Why I like it: This is based on a fic I haven't read yet but it looks very cool and has cool quotes that fit the characters well and I enjoyed it a lot.
