Back again
Sep. 15th, 2014 01:06 pmI'm back from visiting my relatives for a week. It was nice to see them all again. As feared and expected I got no work done that week... The weather wasn't ideal, but we made the best of it.
The highlight of the week were a walk around a mountain lake during the only two hours that day when instead of raining the weather was fantastic, and the beautiful double rainbow I saw. I have pictures, but I'm too lazy to upload them right now.
Or, well, lazy: I have a terrible headache today for some reason, taking a nap and painkillers barely helped. But I managed to do some OTW work, practice driving, and talk to some friends, so that's something. Tomorrow is a long day, with two doctor's appointments and then movie afternoon, I hope it'll be better but I'm not looking forward to it. Except movie afternoon, if I'm feeling well it'll be great.
Mom is extremely stressed about my thesis again, ugh. Just when I was thinking to myself it's nice that at home I don't have to explain further when I have bad days, things like that, she does a great job reminding me of all the things that are extremely annoying at home. I should count how many times a day I have to tell myself "she means well."
