So in short, I really really love this show right now and I'm looking forward to more. (Thursday, probably!)

I already had a sleep deficit, but on the other hand today is Sunday, so I stayed up until 4am to watch the Pens-Leafs game. It was a lot of fun. Hockey is beautiful! The Pens played very well! Sid is so good, wow. Hornqvist fits in very well. And Geno is getting into game shape, I thought "Looks like he's getting his speed back" one shift before he scored. (Potash: "How much does it mean to get on the board so soon?" Geno: "It's not soon. It's not first game. It's second." Geno <3) We have a bottom 6 that can trap the Leafs' top line in their zone (tbf that was probably a big exception, their top lines had a bad time in general), and Flower was solid. 5-2 :) I'm very excited for this season.
Also the Caps shut out the Bruins and the Habs won against the Flyers after being down 0-3, very nice.
