I imagine the whole thing looks very silly to non-hockey fans. I mean, it was, but also the hilarious kind of ridiculous. (Shoes! omfg. And iirc Lu's kids were wearing black jerseys.)

I'm planning not to watch the skills competition live, because I really need sleep, but I doubt my self-control, so I'll see. Maybe as a reward if I get work done until then.
