- Gay marriage in the whole US \o/

- I'm trying to concentrate on work, but I'm also really interested in hockey trades, of which there will presumably be many today. It's a huge distraction. I'll stay up to watch the draft, and by the way I discovered today that I like cappuccino, because the library café didn't have a melange. (In Vienna. This is weird. Standards are clearly sinking because I didn't even get a glass of water with my coffee.)

- Relatedly, I think I may soon have to give in and get a twitter account. I've been stalking several people and some of them recently locked their accounts, which is annoying. I've been holding off because I'm afraid I would use it to procrastinate, but I do that already. (I'd have to play another round of "can I find a username I like that's not already taken", bäh. Sometimes I really envy people with one recognizable unique username.)

- In the library on our new university campus the library has an archive with rolling stacks. I like it a lot, it's silent and you find books very easily by number. I read a few fics that featured sex in a library and I never understood how that would work or be even remotely sexy or comfortable, until I discovered the big room with the rolling stacks. I can't say why, but I would definitely make out with someone there.

Twitter definitely is a source of procrastination, I'll grant. But after having an account for a while, I think it becomes less so. Though I suppose it depends on how one uses it.

Maybe I'll try it out during the summer. Or if there ever comes a time when procrastination would be less bad ;)

I like different libraries to look differently: if I'm looking for novels I love browsing according to genre. But if a uni library has a good keyword tagging system that's less necessary. (Unfortunately that's a big if!)

Hockey fandom is a fandom that is very active on twitter! I have twitter but I keep it locked, so I'm still a little removed from the ongoing conversations. But yes, the username struggle on all these different platforms is frustrating! XD

I can't say why, but I would definitely make out with someone there. Hee! As someone who works in (several) libraries I can't imagine ever wanting to have sex in the library myself -- but I'm very happy to read about characters who do. ;)

I now have a twitter account (akaenn), because I have no self control. (The Richards contract termination and the Bruins trades were the final drop, and then when the Saad trade happened it really was easier to follow along.) I have no idea how this thing works, but hopefully I'll figure it out eventually. I still feel like a complete amateur on Tumblr and I've had that account for a while! DW is my favorite.

Free agency frenzy today! I hope the Pens sign Plotnikov and Sheary, hopefully Tikhonov too, don't overpay for players, maybe can get rid of Scuderi, and don't trade Olli under any circumstances.
