My legs are sore :( LB told me I should see it as proof of an accomplishment, fine, but it still hurts when I move. (Hence why I barely moved today. Overall I was very unproductive.)

Positives: I went running yesterday! For the first time from my new place, and it was nicer to run than I'd feared. I ran to Schönbrunn Palace, the park there is beautiful.

Negatives:
- It was a lot more tiring and took longer than I thought it would. I haven't run for a year or so, but I thought it would be easier to start again this time because until early March I was playing ice hockey. Apparently not so much. I didn't manage to run the whole way without stopping more than once.

- I thought I could listen to a podcast while running, but most of the way it was so loud I barely heard anything.

- It was very windy.

- Afterwards my knees hurt. Next time I'll bandage both of them.

- Afterwards in the shower was the first time in my new flat that I ran out of hot water :( At the worst possible moment. I hate cold showers, so I waited until the water became warm again, it still sucked.

On April 10th I'm planning to run in a family relay in the Vienna City Marathon, that's in less than two weeks! So I'm planning to go running again tomorrow, and I'm even mostly hopeful that I'll be able to make myself do it.

Yay! If you're running for the first time in a long time, be sure to run a lot more slowly than you used to. Knees hurting and being sore are evidence you're pushing too hard too quickly. Be cautious!

Might it help to invest in a good pair of earphones for running?

I recently bought a pair that you mould to your own ears--might be an option for you? I find it actually takes a bit of doing (but only a bit) to get them out when you want to get them out. They're here: https://www.decibullz.com/

Good luck in the relay thing, hopefully you will be ready for it.
