More spirits

schneefinkNew episodes of Natsume Yuujinchou have become the highlight of my Fridays (together with D&D, but there was no session yesterday because too many people cancelled.) It's so nice.
Episode 7: Aww, Tanuma brought hisboyfriend to meet his extended family :) Poor Natsume conflicted about being unable to tell Tanuma something, but Tanuma already suspected. Tanuma seemed surprised that youkai really can pretend to be human, did Natsume not tell him about Kai?
Episode 8: Multiple times during this episode I found it very comforting that we already know that Natori meets Natsume and they become friends, that he meets Hiiragi etc. No wonder Natori was fascinated by Matoba, but they're both both good and proud.
I wonder what Natsume would see on the kimono. Either the patterns Matoba sees or even more, I expect.
Episode 9: Natsume always runs away from youkai, even those who probably harass him often – except when he has someone to protect, then he punches them. Someone please write the forced-gladiator!Natsume story, ideally Natsume/Tanuma.
Aww, when Madara found out that Mushroom was planning to use Natsume as an offering first he thought it would be a good lesson for Natsume, but later after Mushroom reconsidered he prevented Mushroom from telling Natsume what he was planning to do <3 I love Madara looking out for Natsume.
Madara being so insistent on people from different worlds always being separated reminded me of my "Madara had a secret crush on Reiko"-theory. I really hope we'll find out more about their relationship one day.
Of course Natsume relates the separation between worlds to him and the Fujiwaras :(
Next episode will be about Touko and Shigeru! I can't wait.
