schneefinkHow is Christmas tomorrow already? Every year it's so sudden. I suspect I'm bad with calendars.
Natsume Yuujinchou season 5 is over after only 11 episodes, but season 6 has already been confirmed so it's okay :) And season 5 was exactly what I wanted so that was great.
Touko and Shigeru are so sweet <333 And Touko just accepts that Natsume can see things she can't, when Natsume slips up without noticing – maybe the crow is just too white. Aww. Maybe one day Natsume can safely tell them, but not until he's older, 18 at least, and better with dealing with stray youkai.
The last episode was especially lovely. Natsume and all his youkai friends :) Even the mid-ranks, who don't even like to admit that they like him but they really do, going to all that trouble to find medicine etc. Yes, Natsume has a very short lifespan compared to youkai, but they all care about him anyway.
Natsume and Tanuma! I rarely ship characters as much as I do these two, not even sure why. Natsume finally has someone he can talk to – not about everything, but about how it feels to be able to do what he does, and about Reiko, and hopefully soon even about the Book of Friends. Natsume knows now that not being alone means having to protect people and it's difficult but worth it <3 Madara looking up when Natsume mentions Reiko surely also had people who cared about her made me happy too.
