The first week of my summer job is over. The job itself is good: the people are very nice, it's often interesting, and the pay is okay. With the main disadvantage being that it takes me one and a half hours to get there. I hate getting up early, and until yesterday I was moving around in a zombie-like fashion. Then yesterday I finally managed to go to bed early, and today it was better. I hope it stays that way.
The things I learn about banks! Sure, everyone can read "banks lost another few hundred million due to crisis in Greece" in the newspaper, but it's a whole different thing to hear the people responsible for the annual financial statements talk about it. Last year I saw one side of the craziness (the bills themselves), this year "how to make an IFRS report for a large corporation." Never has it been more clear to me how much money is fictional.
I wanted to tell you a few anecdotes but translating the finance terms into English is making me crazy, sorry.
Still haven't started studying Russian. But at least I have a visa now.

apocalypse_kree, for the prompt "Torren: I am legend." I haven't seen the film, but I found the book very interesting. I'm already brainstorming and now I want to write the scene where everyone dies, which absolutely doesn't fit in the story, brain. Maybe I'll write it afterwards.
I need sleeeep. Watched "Was gibt es Neues?", the only decent comedy show in Austrian TV. Michael Niavarani/Viktor Gernot/Oliver Baier right there on the screen, no one can tell me otherwise. Beautiful.
Good night.
