Fandom Appreciation Challenge Day 1: Sarah Jane Adventures recs

More procrastination, yay!

Fandom Appreciation Challenge:
DAY 1: On your journal, rec three fanworks by people you don't know and whose works you haven't read/watched/listened to/looked at before.

That was very difficult, so I finally decided to look for The Sarah Jane Adventures fanworks, even though I've only just started with season 3.

I couldn't decide between these two vids by GraphicByDesign:
Closer - almost like a trailer, very well done, sadly it cuts off very abruptly
Shattered - Sarah Jane, Luke, Maria, and Clyde.
Both are not very happy. Spoilers for seasons 1&2.

The Ghost of Christmas Always by minervafan
A lovely Maria&Sarah Jane friendship fic that takes place on several Christmas Days. Not the most cheerful story, but with a happy ending. (Read the author's notes for more info.)

Looking for fanworks in a fandom unknown to me and not extremely active at the moment (and trying to avoid as many spoilers as possible) is more difficult than I thought. It's much easier in SGA, for example, where I just found several great fics written for satedan_grabass that I'll rec in a few days when I've read all of them.

Now back to more procrastination studying.
