Festivid recs

Late is better than never! Here's the festivid rec post that I wanted to make a month ago. I'm linking to the original announcement posts because a) some vids don't have a signed vid link posted and I'm too lazy to search for it, this way I can keep it consistent, b) the other posts, that are linked anyway, have very few comments and that looks very sad. I know almost none of the canon sources, but it didn't matter.

A short, fun vid about Emily and being happy about Science. Makes me smile.

Summer Holiday by suburbannoir (Snowpiercer)
If the combination of title/song and movie didn't already clue you in: this is either very dark humor or complete crack, probably both. Hilarious but unsettling.

Moves Like Yaweh by jetpack_monkey (Prince of Egypt)
At first I thought the biggest reason for the song choice was probably the title, and that's still pretty great, but actually the lyrics fit amazingly well.

Take Me to Church by chaila (Luther)
So these two people are pretty messed up, wow. And now I can't associate this song with anything else, it fits perfectly.

All I Want by anoel (Life of Pi)
A beautiful vid, a quiet sort of tragedy with great visuals.

Shake It Off by violace (Maleficent)
This really made me want to watch the movie. Fun and pretty.

I am what I am by thingswithwings (Batman 1996)
Sparkly, cracky, hilarious, and completely and wonderfully unapologetic.

Long Live by gwenfrankenstien (Lord of the Rings Behind the Scenes Extras)
Has it really been so long since the LotR movies came out? They were fantastic. This vid is perfect for nostalgia.

Do you like Jackie Chan movies? Then you will love this vid.
