Originally I wanted to repeat the daily recs advent calendar from last year, but it's already December 2nd so it's obvious that that's not working out. Too much to do/too little free brain space last week, and this week is also not looking good. But maybe the week after, that should still give me enough time for all the prompts people left. (I don't want this to become a source of stress so I might leave some out if they're especially tricky.)
Many people are doing the December posting meme and that's great, I look forward to reading all of it. It's surprisingly hard to come up with prompts in the moment, and later I forget/close the tabs; so if you're still looking for prompts and I didn't leave one yet, how about the story of one wish-fulfillment self-insert character from your teenage years? (I'm pretty sure that's a common thing. I think I had over a dozen.) Alternatively, your field of study/work/specialization/hobby and how a book/movie/series/canon got it terribly/hilariously wrong.
