Last year I did not even get close to completing a bingo for
hc_bingo, but I did write On the Day She Dies (Bloodrights – N. Lee Wood, for the "mercy killing" square) and Uncut Gems (The Fire's Stone – Tanya Huff, for the "body/mindswap" square with bonus time travel) which I would not have written otherwise, so I consider it a success.
I signed up again this year, and I'd like to use it as inspiration again, but staring at the card just reminded me that I don't really have a fandom that inspires me to write fic right now. I wish I was more into Guardian and Good Omens, both currently very active fandoms, but for some reason while I liked canon I don't really feel like writing for it. Ah well, a h/c-bingo round lasts for a long time, maybe something will come along.
( I do like the card I got. )
