I finally finished my DSMP fix-it AU!
Speaking the Other Language

Summary: "Hey, Techno, I've been thinking," Tommy said. "What would it take for you to not destroy L'Manberg?"
Pre-Doomsday AU: Tommy finds out that Technoblade wants to destroy L'Manberg. He tries to find a different solution, but breaking the cycle of revenge and violence is hard.
Additional tags: Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence, Fix-It, Pre-Doomsday War, solving problems with communication, which requires a lot of talking, Reluctant Allies to Less Reluctant Allies, Enemies to Enemies-But-Ceasefire, accidental diplomat Tommy, nuclear standoff except Techno has withers and Tubbo does not have nukes yet
The longest fic I've written so far :) It's not perfect but I'm satisfied with it, I still like the AU idea a lot and I think I did a decent job with the character voices. The ending was hard, but better an imperfect ending than to leave it unfinished (and also I really wanted it done now because I need my head free for Yuletide.)
