I always love staring at flames

I didn't do most of the tasks I'd planned for this weekend (writing Yuletide fic, cleaning etc., and I didn't go running either) but I did go to a medieval Christmas market today. It was fun. I bought a silver turtle ring for myself and I watched the fire show at the end, which included dancers and also two knights fighting with burning swords, that was cool.

Work is currently very stressful, which I knew to expect because we have multiple important deadlines this month, so I'm working a lot of overtime and haven't really had time to relax and enjoy being done with my exams yet (though the weight off my mind is a huge relief, of course.) I'm hoping that January will be more relaxed, fingers crossed.
