Oh man I hate "full rest or no?"->time vs. power decision, we just had a long debate about that at my last D&D session. (Ultimately we decided on taking a long rest and I'm pretty sure it was the right decision.) Everyone in our party is much more careful with their spells than Tiberius is though.
Huh, so Kash had an obligation to the Slayer's Take.
22: [spoilers up to 103] Osysa is great at Scrying, could she scry on Vecna? Possible he has protections, but at least some of his people... And if Thar'Amphala is not far from Vasselheim... Vanessa said that only twice before has the Slayer's Take called upon its members to unite in a fight, a battle against Vecna would surely qualify. Could be very useful allies.

The game is as much fun as it always was, but I find it harder to enjoy the latest eps because I'm so tense because the stakes are so high. If they'd lost in the Chroma Conclave arc, well, someone else would eventually have been able to finish the job. If they fail this time, ooooh boy, that would be very bad for the entire world. I know it's just a silly game but I got attached to the characters, and not just to the player characters either. Matt is usually very good at giving them a fair chance and they are very high-level right now, but I worry about the odds anyway.
Better than watching others play D&D: playing D&D. Recent developments in our D&D campaign:
So far we got five powerful former enemies on our side: two barely count because they only fought us because they were forced to, one we convinced that our enemies were her enemies (in the old timeline so the sell was harder), one I turned into an undead minion (I did try to also convince her afterwards but I'm still not completely sure how much free will she still has, it's a bit awkward), and the latest one we cured from insanity, convinced her that our enemies are her enemies and then also guilt-tripped her because she killed me. (I got better.) And this list leaves out some borderline cases. Turns out that if your enemies want to destroy the world and everyone on it, "our enemies are also your enemies" works very well to convince people. Having powerful allies is great.
Another enemy we discovered was actually a traitor to her god and helped us out once. We were hoping to work with her more, but when we contacted her again she was possessed, so we assume she was discovered. We tried to lead possessed-her into a trap, and then we realized that that meant we knew where she would be and that meant we could attempt to save her from the possession. Apparently our DM didn't expect that, because an hour or so later while Scrying on someone else we saw her dying. No matter, rescue mission! It took us 5-10 minutes to organize because she was being killed by a very dangerous enemy, and when we finally arrived she was already dead. DM really didn't want us to get her on our side… not that her being dead would stop us, there are ways to fix that. I had to use Limited Wish to get all the evil caterpillars out of her body and we managed to escape with the corpse. And then we found out that during the 5-10 minutes we needed to prepare, evil caterpillar guy ate her soul :(
Also our druid got pregnant by a unicorn, and only one session later impaled herself with a stalagmite because she needed to die (temporarily!) for us to get a powerful artifact (long story.) I immediately tried to revive her afterwards, of course: the two seconds when our DM made it look like the spell failed were not fun, no matter what he said, but they were dramatic. I love D&D.

I immediately tried to revive her afterwards, of course: the two seconds when our DM made it look like the spell failed were not fun, no matter what he said, but they were dramatic. I love D&D.
