schneefinkWell today was a wasted day, but I did finish catching up with Young Justice so far and enjoyed it.
But. Why the FUCK does Lady Shiva's costume have a boob window. What the fuck. Why is this necessary in twenty-fucking-nineteen. I don't care if she has a boob window in the comics, this is an adaption and you can change things.
Interesting that Batman and Dick are secretly still coordinating with the Justice League. Or, well, Wonder Woman and Aquaman, not even Superman knows. Considering that the reason for why this is necessary is Luthor's restrictions on the Justice League as UN Secretary, we see surprisingly little of these restrictions and no consequences of what looks like superheroes constantly breaking these rules, or at least constantly acting spontaneously without seeming to care about regulations. I hope we'll eventually get to see a bit more of that.
There are so many characters! And I like most of them. Sometimes I almost lose track (so many Harpers.) And of course they can't focus equally on all of them, but there are a few characters I still hope will get a bit more screentime. I really liked the episode with Garfield/Beast Boy. I'm curious what will happen with Cyborg (man his dad is an asshole.) And Brion seems to be willing to listen to Dick sometimes, maybe even try some patience, we'll see…
Tara Markov being a plant from the League of Shadows was a surprise but makes a ton of sense. (but aren´t they worried about Meghan scanning her? Though maybe they don't realize Meghan will be there because she wasn't at the training session where the Light sent an attacker to evaluate the group. Though it seems like for a group with the resources like the Light, they should definitely know about Connor and Meghan's relationship.)
Sadly the second half of the season doesn't come out until June :(
