Oh man, this is so weird! I watched Critical Role a lot when the second campaign started, and at some point I just stopped, because I lost interest and spend my time differently. A few weeks ago, a friend told me how good the last few episodes were when we were playing our own campaign, and I went to check it out again.
I listened to a few of the really early episodes to get back into the groove, and I fell in love with the characters all over again. Around episode 26, I thought, "Oh hey, this is new!". So I put away my knitting, and I concentrated on watching the "new" episode. I really love Keg, but I thought to myself "Is it really a good idea to ambush a party of slavers, numbers and skills largely unknown, in the middle of a road?" I had no idea what the fuck I was getting into.
I am still dealing with it, and I really don't want to be spoiled, so I can't discuss anything from later episodes with you here. I just think it's a weird coincidence that you also occasionally watch Critical Role^^
