#45: Gable giving Jonnit a "good job" sticker for facing the Mariner ^^ and Jonnit giving it back to her, aww. And of course Travis will never get one.
Whaat, second cliffhanger about the same thing, mean.
#46: At first I was skeptical of a Gable&Travis history flashback. For some reason I thought that Travis and Gable had never met before they both came to the Uhuru, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But I love the idea of both of them just sporadically accidentally meeting throughout 200 years.
Uriel! Why Uriel? The classic choice for "high-ranking angel that most people don't know much about and who can thus fulfil multiple roles," I guess.
#47: Travis won Gable's name?! And Travis trying to talk to depressed Gable for months while they're both in a prison camp is also hilarious. And then Gable as bounty-hunter letting Travis her bounty go and actually showing some care. Great backstory for both of them.
#48: noo, not again! I want to know what Hildred saw! Aäsldkfjaäsldfk even the captain put a hand on Gable's shoulder.

#50 (I think): Jonnit telling Nodoze that he will take the wheel and Nodoze accepting it – I really want Nodoze PoV fic on the captain's inner circle.
#51: Gable and Travis' banter has become more, hm, intense recently? ^^ and meanwhile James calls Gable Travis' oldest and most dependable friend, aww.
Oh shit, what went wrong with that healing (apart from Gable burning off Travis' half-hand-half-paw)…
Travis demanding that Gable buy him a new jacket after Gable might have done something very bad, possibly permanently destroying his arm, aösldk these two.
#52: Gable is concerned. I didn't use to ship those two but.
Someone (Margaret) reminding Travis of someone from his past (also called Margaret) calling him out on not talking genuinely often, fun.
Please let there be fanart of Jonnit piggy-backing on Gable and both of them eating cake :D
#53: hm, initially skeptical about forcing Travis to be honest with Margaret, but otherwise it would probably never happen and his friends still won't know.

#54: April Fool's episode xD Nice to hear JPC again, and then even Dref :) Even if only as a suffering ghost, and in a recruitment bit.
#55: still not entirely convinced by Travis' storyline with Margaret, but him being human at night is cool.
#56: Gable and Jonnit being so surprised that Travis called them his friends xD And Travis' first hangover in ages, heh. Aww, I kind of preferred the idea of the three of them hanging out drunk on the roof together. Maybe Margaret joined them again later. Aww, Jonnit is baby ^^ Travis watching the sunrise without pain for the first time in ages :)
#57: Priest Lorenzo telling them (including Gable) that people like them are the reason god is dead is hilarious.
#58: Gable & Jonnit tease Travis quite a bit, and telling him to get lost, even jokingly – look I'm sure Travis knows how they mean it, I'm just saying it'd be easy to make some good angst out of that.
Jonnit eagerly saying Gable is his tutor, aww.
Travis not wanting to make a decision about trying to lift his curse without talking to Gable! (Ok so the ritual will force him to disclose his secrets to his friends as well… and quite a lot… I hope this was discussed with Johnny beforehand.)
#59: I look forward to Gable's new coat :)

I was waiting for Flea to do something ever since we got that little extra info about albatrosses opposing the Mariner :) iirc Jonnit rode Flea in the race.
#60: Jonnit thinking the Mariner is only after him at least explains why they were not more concerned about the people of Nordia.
"Did you want to die together?" "Well, not together, but we didn't want to not-be-dead together" Travis&Gable <333 His oldest and dearest friend, yess. And he'll promise not to let them die alone <3 I don't ship them romantically but definitely as BFFs.
(I still think the forced intimacy is awkward, but also delicious.)

…okay but what was up with that service and everyone drinking saltwater and having a Mariner's mark.
#63: Heh, Margaret telling Travis that the way he's been dealing with his trauma is unhealthy, and he's not fine. I think this was my favorite scene with her so far. I was also glad that she reminded Travis that he has a choice to do this – and yeah, the alternative is missing most of one arm as a human, but this is a world with magic, if he wanted to I'm sure Travis could just get a cool magical prosthesis.
I haven't even finished going through AO3 to see what is already there, but some of the fics I want:
- the story of Orimar Vale's death and how it came that exactly those four were present, and the forming of the conspiracy and the early days and them becoming friends
- related, Gable and Travis both first independently and then together realizing (but never articulating) that they've basically adopted two kids, and then Jonnit and Dref about having been adopted
- Nodoze's PoV on the captain's inner circle
- Does Jonnit have other friends on the Uhuru? People his own age? What do they think of his special position?
- Travis being able to see Dref's ghost, but only when he's an animal with Dref's heart inside him (possibly spanning the time when Margaret keeps him human for three days)
