On the fifteenth winter of Ronia and Birk’s lives, Undis’ prediction is finally coming true.
I don't remember much of that book, but even without this is a beautiful story about growing up and falling in love.
Hebrew Bible
She Will Place on Your Head a Graceful Garland; She Will Bestow on You a Beautiful Crown
King's wives; king's sons.
An amazing story about Bathseba, Abigail, and King David's harem.
Hansel and Gretel
lovely, dark, and deep
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep— and well-protected. There shouldn't be anyone living there, and Gretel had learned enough from her mother to know not to trust mysterious lights in the forest.
This is one of the stories that reminds you of the dark and scary core at the heart of fairy tales.

Day 214 on the campaign trail of Steve Rogers for President. Twenty-sixteen's turning out to be a hell of a year.
Something light and funny, with great character voices (Coulson!)
