Having in-person classes again is so much better for actually following the material. It would be even better if I was properly prepared every time instead of just somewhat, but whatever. There are only about 20-25 students in each class, which is very nice. I am also relieved that the windows are always open because I'm the only person still wearing a mask.

I really do get the feeling people forget the pandemic isn't just over and done with? My grandparents just caught it two months ago and my grandfather is just now getting better at going up stairs again, and he did get vaccinated three times. I would rather wear a mask indoors most times even if I "only" got flu-like symptoms and had to stay in bed for a week if I get it, I don't want that either. (Though I do understand why people dislike wearing a mask on public transport. It's already very hot here.)

My brain is being very annoying at the moment again, but that was to be expected. I just need to make it past the exams in June, then things will be easier for a while.

I thought about not starting a new game until the exams were over so I played a few rounds of Hades again, but that only reminded me how much I love Hades (fishing is slightly easier with the controller so I'm optimistic that one day I will get that stupid last fish!), so that wasn't really working out. I started Rabi-Ribi and am enjoying it a lot so far, I love how non-linear it is and how there are so many places I can go. (And the shallow part of me also enjoys all the beautiful young women in swimsuits or bikinis.)

Sorry about the brain doing brain stuff, and good luck with the exams! ♥ This reminded me I still haven't finished Hades...

I really don't understand how people just flip the switch to 'no pandemic'. I totally get making a conscious choice of like "I know I can get sick but I choose to risk that instead of wearing a mask", but this doesn't feel like that? It feels like many people put absolutely no thought into it and just took the masks off as soon as they weren't mandatory. So weird!

Naja.

I feel very similarly about the pandemic. It seems like so much of the world around me has just decided that it's over and when I go out to run errands, few people around me are wearing masks. (I still wear mine everywhere.) Meanwhile, people I know are still dealing with long-term effects of having had covid, and I keep hearing about more people getting sick. And I have no desire to be sick for a week, even if that's "all" that happens!

Best of luck with the home stretch until your exams!

Best of luck with your exams! As for the whole situation with the pandemic....yeah.... really got nothing to add but a sigh of despair :/

Hope you get to catch the final fish in Hades! I'm veeeery behind on the fishing since I am terrible at that mini-game, so I hope to get better work done on it this summer when I can play with my sister XD (we take turns doing runs - it's so fun to have a video game again where you can just hand over the controller to someone else without them having to "catch up" on the controls! Really missed that from my childhood Super Nintendo games <3)
