schneefinkI'm still not 100%, but doing better. I even went outside today! Okay, only for a short errand, but maybe later I will go for a short walk? It's sunny outside, that must be good for me.
New MCC tomorrow, I'm excited!
So I thought I should finally post the way too detailed notes I took on the, uh, 17 VODs I watched from the first 11 MCCs.

MCC #1, Phil, on the Yellow Chickens with Wilbur, Ryguyrocky, and JackSucksAtLife
Techno in both Phil and Wilbur's chats is great fun. Techno asking who he has to cyberbully so he can join the event, Phil asking Techno if he's proud of him during early Parkour Warrior, Techno encouraging Phil but later asking how they could all possibly miss that jump in Parkour Warrior, Wilbur saying that Techno can talk once he's been invited to MCC and Phil apologizing on Wilbur's behalf… xD
Wilbur: "I thought the fox would make friends with the chickens." ^^

Ah this maybe played a part in why they gave Techno a better team next MCC, he is so discouraged this time by what he correctly predicted to be complete domination by one team that he considered not joining in the future.

First Sands of Time! Very funny to see it played when nobody knew it yet, and I look forward to seeing how the gameplay develops over time.
I think my favorite part of this was the post-event chat with Tommy, where Techno, Phil, and Wilbur were so concerned about him having pissed off his teammates xD

Poor Techno is so stressed from the beginning because he is missing time he needs for farming potatoes! And also because of Dream, I think, and the whole ~rivalry bit fans were hyping.

Wilbur insisting that the Sleepy Bois Incorporated are just him, Phil, and Techno, definitely not other people or Tommy, who's just an associate (funnily enough I remember that in a stream about two years later Phil and Wilbur mentioned that Tommy joined SBI during MCC 4 – memory is a funny thing.) But Seapeekay could become an honorary member if they win and he gets top 5 ^^
Already during the first event Wilbur points out that he's here to have fun and he doesn't like it that Techno is so focused on only points and victory… and later he tells Techno he's such a nerd, stop farming potatoes ^^
Techno blocking Tommy on Twitter after Tommy punches him off a ladder in TGTTOS and then kills him in Survival Games ^^ (Seapeekay: "I killed Tommy so everyone on Twitter who said I shouldn't have replaced him can go fuck themselves." ^^) And later mutes him on Discord too.

This MCC is a few days after the third potato war video came out, which explains so much about how much more relaxed Techno is.
Techno is a casual, he only practiced for like six hours, mhm, casual is definitely what comes to mind when I think about Techno

The post-MCC VC with Techno, Dream, sylvee and Sapnap was fun, Techno and Dream just kept teasing each other about being obsessive about the tournament and made fun of mocking each other. [btw I just saw Dream just tweeted about getting his Techno death merch hoodie, sad again.]
Techno said he didn't give his teammates the whole list for Buildmart because he knows he won't be allowed to team with them again ^^
…why is the entire chat telling him to call Skeppy for like half an hour.

I didn't expect that the game that ended up giving them a big boost in points would be Buildmart!! Especially because Dream died in SoT.
DB was very stressful, omg if Hbomb would have defeated Techno the same way in the last round for the second time in a row…

And he tells Phil about the bedtime twitter alliance but emphasizes that it's not a merger because, no offense Dream, some of his fans are weird, especially when they ask if George is dating anyone. Dream says he's seen SBI being shipped too (Techno: that's different) and asks if Techno is jealous George is too good-looking (what xD)

What is it with so many participants being unable not to go to the toilet for three hours!

Wilbur being proud of himself halfway through for what a good Sandbur he is – but ultimately they did really badly in the event because Phil and Tommy both didn't make it out in time :( If I counted right they would have been third overall if not for that. Wilbur looked really down.
Aww, Phil and Wilbur and Tommy rooting for Techno in DB so hard! Wilbur was so worried during that very last Hbomb vs Dream moment!
From Wilbur's perspective, the entire rest of the team standing on the podium while Techno is just running around is hilarious
The entire time Tommy kept mentioning that he has to think of his vlog gun to focus, and now they got sixth, so Wilbur destroys it on stream by stomping on it (but only one because they lost because of the glitches)
Wilbur wants to repeat the same team again for redemption, but Tommy wants Tubbo! Wilbur: Tommy if you get Tubbo on I will just destroy the gun right now. And hitting the gun against the desk until Tommy agrees, after trying to persuade Scott to back out for Tubbo without success ^^ Wilbur: I'm not being chaotic evil here, I'm being lawful evil.

Nothing much to say for most of this but I enjoy them a lot. They're all so nice! Good teamwork, too.
Poor Ren during that Ace Race, but the team overall did great and have I mentioned how nice his teammates are?

It is weirdly fun to see the shenanigans of the participants I know better in chat and have more of an outsider PoV on what is happening with their teams.

DB reverse sweep! That was exciting! And they're so surprised and delighted to have won :D Ren hit with his first arrow, and I was almost disappointed he took another shot later because a 100% accuracy rate would have been funny ^^
Hbomb complaining that Ren is too wholesome and asking Ren to yell at him, then promptly changing his mind, and Ren immediately apologizes: "You're not a butt, dude, and if you are a butt, you're a beautiful butt."

And then Scott SMajor and Shubble join too, and they play a variety of games (including VampireZ because Tubbo wants it but nobody else likes it)

That was a fun team :) Techno and Phil are always fun together, Eret is very cool (and also a huge Techno fan), and Niki is very nice

Tommy did so good for this entire tournament but he seems maybe, uh, less focused in early SoT: overestimating himself, forgetting his own advice, seeming really unsure about which paths to use and getting lost… But he did end up getting a lot of points, and the team as well, so it worked out. Not quite enough to get them into second place but still, very good third.

Sadly that was the last canon event Techno participated in. I will definitely continue, and looking ahead there are very few events where there are not at least two teams I'm interested in watching... Hopefully I can stop taking this many notes though? Hard to say, it's not really predictable. I've watched all of Dream's Minecraft Manhunt videos recently and while I enjoyed them a lot, they're exciting and many of the traps/moves are very impressive, I wasn't tempted to write anything down for later. (Or, only very rarely. Like when he got elytra. And when he tried it again but was stopped and got stranded. Or when George offered to be his pet.)

Tommy did so good for this entire tournament but he seems maybe, uh, less focused in early SoT: overestimating himself, forgetting his own advice, seeming really unsure about which paths to use and getting lost… But he did end up getting a lot of points, and the team as well, so it worked out. Not quite enough to get them into second place but still, very good third.
Wilbur reading reddit comments predicting their team to do badly, and then Tommy spotlighting a reddit post predicting that their team will do well out of spite ^^
Of course Wilbur plays D&D every week.

Sadly that was the last canon event Techno participated in. I will definitely continue, and looking ahead there are very few events where there are not at least two teams I'm interested in watching... Hopefully I can stop taking this many notes though? Hard to say, it's not really predictable. I've watched all of Dream's Minecraft Manhunt videos recently and while I enjoyed them a lot, they're exciting and many of the traps/moves are very impressive, I wasn't tempted to write anything down for later. (Or, only very rarely. Like when he got elytra. And when he tried it again but was stopped and got stranded. Or when George offered to be his pet.)
