schneefinkHi! Thank you for creating something for me :) This is my first time participating in this exchange and I'm excited.
I'm requesting my two new favorite MCYT fandoms (it might be obvious who my favorite characters are...) Feel free to connect them not at all or as much as you want, any interpretation of how much they remember either in the Life games about Hermitcraft or on Hermitcraft about the Life games is fine by me.
DNW: explicit sexual content, explicit abuse or torture, character bashing, stories with a very dark or hopeless ending, self-harm for mental health reasons, different world AUs (like coffeeshop AUs or Harry Potter fusions - anything Minecraft-related is fine), giving characters traits of the players, non-requested non-canon pairings
General likes: strong friendships, complicated relationships, relationships forged under pressure, loyalty, sacrifice & betrayal themes, difficult choices, emotional h/c, canon-divergence AUs, time travel and time loops, competent characters, plot, hugs, exploration of game mechanics,
Life Series SMP
WB: Any, Solo: The Clockers, Solo: ZombieCleo, ZombieCleo & EthosLab, ZombieCleo & EthosLab & BdoubleO100, ZombieCleo & Smajor1995
General: Any take on how their memories work in the Life games, how much time passes, how they get there and what happens with the winners etc., is fine with me. Canon-levels of tragic endings are fine.
WB: Any - speaking of! How do their memories work in the Life games? How much do they forget and how much do they remember, and what do they remember? What happens with the winners? (If they remember) How do they deal with coming from a world with infinite respawns and suddenly being put in a world where deaths mean something? While in the game, what do they think death means?, and other exciting questions.
Hermitcraft
Solo: ZombieCleo, Solo: EthosLab, GeminiTay & ZombieCleo
General: I'm most familiar with season 9. For fic set in earlier seasons, especially season 5 and earlier, please err on the side of providing more background information :) For Hermitcraft I'm fine with fantasy AUs, especially if they include Hermitcraft lore like Cleo's Atlantis or Gem's elven kingdom, or maybe the story takes place in a small village that suddenly has to deal with demon attacks...
I like the whole Hermitcraft cast and will be excited no matter who shows up. Some Hermits I am particularly fond of especially in interactions with those I nominated include Bdubs, Impulse, Ren, Scar, Joe, Pearl, Xisuma, Cub...
GeminiTay & ZombieCleo: Cleo is king of Hermitcraft, Gem is an elven princess. Cleo has been here for a long time, Gem is still new in comparison. Gem admires/likes/appreciates Cleo, in vaguely that order; Cleo likes/appreciates/admires Gem, in vaguely that order. I would love to read about them getting to know each other, and/or having adventures together. Maybe even some ~politics. Or something set during the Empires crossover could be fun too, with Cleo learning more about Gem's LARP adventures. Or Gem introducing Cleo to MCC. Or what if they escaped the moon together?
ZombieCleo: I could read all day about Cleo being sarcastic at people. Cleo having adventures big or small, with various different other Hermits; I would especially enjoy Cleo being confronted with strange situations even for Hermitcraft and for some reason being (or feeling) responsible for fixing them. Or seeing the transition from Lady Cleo to King Cleo (and what if the real crown of the king was actually cursed?)
Etho: Somewhere between Minecraft legend, washed up (and ready for dinner), and massive troll: I really enjoy all the different facets of Etho. I also enjoy the contrast between everyone on the server admiring him and Etho being a bit of a recluse. Etho spends a lot of time on his single-player world and also on other servers, so when and why does he return to Hermitcraft (or leave again?) Basically if you want to explore any relationship between Etho and some of the Hermits I will like it. Etho's relationship with Decked Out would also be fascinating to explore/speculate about (and feel free to make Decked Out as alive/eldritch as you want.)
I'm hoping to come back in the next few days to add a few more Life Series prompts too (not that I want Life Series less!, I just picked Hermitcraft to start with because I nominated fewer things), but tbh I might forget. I'm sure I'll enjoy what you come up with.
