schneefinkThe month is almost over so have some quick recs for Hermitcraft fic I read recently. Including one that's more crossover MCYT RPF – well it's technically both MCYT but Joe Hills and Technoblade meeting really feels like a crossover.

Why I like it: Crack taken seriously, kind of. I love the mix of dark cult/mafia story with bits of absurdity.

Summary: Ladders has been a servant of the Seelie Queen for as long as he could remember- which isn’t very long at all, in the grand scheme of things. Regardless, he’s fallen into a familiar rhythm.
That is, until the revel. Until the strange woman with ice cold skin and fiery hair comes along, and with her a prince as vibrant as the forests surrounding them.
Ladders finds himself lost in a dizzying world of sparring and deals, grounding dreams and floating realities. At the center of it all is the prince, and the woman, and somehow… Ladders himself.
Why I like it: Clethubs fae AU with bonus amnesia, very nice angst and h/c.

Summary: Jevin tries to throw an Easter egg hunt, featuring miniature Hermits. In hindsight, this is widely considered by everyone to be a bad move.
Why I like it: Wonderful and hilarious.

Summary: Etho's been living in the city for about six months now, and Bdubs has been trying to introduce him to the rest of his friends for longer. So when the annual hermit Christmas party rolls around, Etho finds himself hiding in the kitchen of some guy's apartment (Grain? Is that his name?) and hoping nobody else stumbles in on him.
Surprise, surprise. Someone does.
Why I like it: The kind of story that is very hard to talk about with spoilers, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Summary: A fictional VOD transcript for a stream that never happened, ft. Technoblade doing arts and crafts and Joe Hills being Joe Hills
Why I like it: Love the concept, great voices, and set post-Techno's death (…kinda) so with some heartbreak too.
