General likes: strong friendships, complicated relationships, relationships forged under pressure, loyalty, sacrifice & betrayal themes, difficult choices, emotional h/c, canon-divergence AUs, time travel and time loops, competent characters, adventures, hugs, exploration of game mechanics...
I'm fine with all POVs (i.e., first, second, third), tenses, ratings, unusual formats, etc. This was spontaneous sign-up and I forgot to opt into different mediums, I'm not sure if it's possible like this?, but if I could I'd opt into all in-universe writing, and choose-your-own-adventure-style games.
General DNWs: explicit sexual content, graphic abuse or torture, character bashing, stories with a hopeless ending, self-harm for mental health reasons, mundane AUs, non-requested non-canon pairings

I'm good with any take on the Life series worldbuilding, from "super angsty death game cycle" to "fun weekend roleplay vacations." I'm also good with any take on how their memories work and how much they remember from outside the games/from previous games, though I'd prefer it if each game isn't a completely new blank slate because I'm especially interested in how the relationships develop over time.
If you write a AU that changes the setting, I'd especially like it if some canon elements are incorporated (i.e. a SF AU where they're in death games but it's on a different planet, a fantasy AU where Cleo summons Gem to possess her, ...)

I'm here for anything from silly shenanigans to weird worldbuilding to angsty backstory or exciting adventures. I love strong established relationships, e.g. "us against the world" or rescues / h/c etc., but also characters just getting to know each other, e.g. "who the heck are you, oh I guess we are on the same side, oops we are friends" or "married to a stranger for Reasons." I enjoy stories where the Hermits are just weird guys and also stories where they're Special in various ways.
