I'm really not! I can mostly recognize the shape of arguments and analyze them afterwards, especially after we got feedback from the judges, but I still have a lot to learn (see: bad results when playing 1st gov, which is where the construction of a logical argument and identifying the key aspects is the most important thing.) Another fascinating aspect M. helped us with: she gave us vocabulary lessons, i.e. which words to use to make your argument more powerful. And especially in the second motion she listed so many important concepts that we missed... It's fascinating.
