The only comfort for Marcille is that Falin is always there to heal her.
Why I love it: A fantastic/horrifying whump / h/c scenario, with lovely intimacy and pining on top of that.

Summary: Flapping a wing in annoyance, Ny-Rakath tries to explain to Alex that yes, they understand the whole task-contains-the-information thing, but the task is nonsensical. The problem, though, is that Ny-Rakath doesn't speak in any language comprehensible to human ears and Alex is undoubtedly a human.
Why I like it: Delightful crossover.

Why I like it: Oops. I really enjoyed Lin Chen in this, and the consequences of his own actions.

I Am Still Right Here by

Summary: Ever since he walked away from his execution, there’s been an itch under Techno’s skin. His mind won’t stop spinning. It isn’t isn’t the brush with death specifically —Technoblade never dies, after all. Dragging his soul back into his mangled body with the aid of a totem and then fighting his way out is just a more intense version of what happens every time he picks up a weapon; facing down an enemy and knowing every way they could hurt him, the steps he has to take to avoid it, and making it through. He fights with his heart in his throat a lot.
Something about the whole experience though—his loved ones used against him, his death sentence read out with no trial, caged and waiting for his death in view of a crowd—his brain hasn’t shut off since. He’s on edge.
OR: Technoblade asks his best friend to dom him.
Why I like it: I haven't read a BDSM AU in a while, but the platonic kink and the intimacy in this were lovely.
