This is the first episode of, uh, anything, in a while that I've watched and really need to talk about. Well done, show.

Wow, this show got actually terrifying (again.) STILES! Dylan O'Brien is an amazing actor. The night terrors, oh my god. And the hallucinations, memory loss, he's losing his mind, he's dying, AND he's possessed by a dark spirit who threatens to kill everyone he loves. Jesus. Everyone loves Stiles, the fans but also in the show. For the Sheriff especially, god, the same thing happened to his wife and now his son... and Melissa, and Scott. Most touching scene since Motel California. Brothers. Uh, I can't be coherent about this. And Scott will find a way out of this, he will, he'll do anything, he'll bite Stiles or give up his Alpha powers or anything, but somewhere out there is someone whose brother doesn't have superpowers and... excuse me for a minute.

*deep breaths*

And Lydia, no, Lydia, no, you're not going crazy again! Poor Lydia. She's so smart, so in control, but this is something she can't control, something she's terrified of, it started with Peter possessing and using her and then finding dead bodies and hearing voices and she doesn't know anything. She doesn't even have an incompetent guide like Scott had in Derek, she has no one. And she doesn't have anyone she trusts completely, like Scott trusts Stiles, either.
I think fooling around with Aiden is her coping mechanism of sorts: she knows it's a bad idea, but it's something that she thinks she can control, and it's dangerous which makes it exciting but not scary, and I don't think she ever got completely over Jackson.

I'm puzzled by Allison's phone and the calls, we'll see where that leads.

I'm liking Derek's role so far and his closeness of sorts with Scott. But wow did it emphasize what I've noticed before, that Teen Wolf likes to skip important scenes and then either talk about it later or just... leave them out. In this case Derek's conversation with Talia. And btw we have no idea where Peter is.
I wonder if the next episode will ignore the cliffhanger and only talk about it in a few sentences. It wouldn't surprise me.

We have a case of "parents not telling their kid vital information", which I don't like in general. It's almost never a good idea. Still, I hope she survives.

Can we have the next episode yet, please?
