After closely canon-related fic recs, this is part II. I'm not feeling very chatty today, so they might be a bit short, but I wanted to get this done because my "to rec" list is growing and growing...
Tiny!Miles
Aptitude by
Philomytha

Why I loved it: Oh my god tiny spy Miles is adorable, and this is hilarious.

Philomytha
gen, 1.3k
Summary: Gregor just wants some peace. Miles has a plan.
Why I loved it: Tiny Miles is adorable. And very loyal.
set later in canon/futurefic (slightly AU)
And I Know That It's Not Easy by
dsudis
gen, 1.3k
Summary: Set sometime between A Civil Campaign and Diplomatic Immunity. | Gregor had been waiting a long, long time to tell him.
Why I loved it: Lovely moment between Gregor and his son.
Honour Thy Father by
sylviarachel
gen, 3k
Summary: Pilot trainee Nikolai Vorsoisson shares a midnight snack and some surprising news with his stepfather.
Why I loved it: Lovely Vorkosigan family futurefic.
Twenty-Year Man by
ellen_fremedon
Ivan/By, 25k
Summary: Lord Ivan Vorpatril and Byerly Vorrutyer, making Vorbarr Sultana safe for (highly limited experiments in) democracy.
Why I loved it: Politics! With bonus great use of bureaucracy!
A Charity Case by
miss_lanyon
gen, 9k
Summary: In which Byerly gets a job, Ivan fills in for his mother, the Emperor polishes his retail skills, and the Vorhartung Castle Gift Shop ladies embezzle every mark. Set sometime after A Civil Campaign.
Why I loved it: Funny, sweet, great niche worldbuilding, and accounting.
Various
Vorkosigan's Day by
Philomytha
gen, 4.6k
Summary: Galeni attends a seminar.
Why I loved it: Very well done, instant headcanon.
The World That You Need by
dsudis
series, 70k, Cordelia/Aral, Aral/Jole
Summary: With Cordelia's help and support, Aral enters a relationship with Lt. Jole. (mine)
Why I loved it: Fantastic poly series. I love how they negotiate their relationships, I love their relationships - Cordelia and Aral, Aral and Jole, Cordelia and Jole etc. - and I love the explorations of how people might deal with homosexuality on Barrayar
A Deeper Season by
lightgetsin
Miles/Gregor, 391k
Summary: A startling confession sends Miles Vorkosigan's life to the left when it might have gone to the right. Miles/Gregor, AU post-Memory.
Why I loved it: I'm a great fan of Miles&Gregor in canon, but for some reason it's very hard to picture Miles/Gregor. It mostly works as long as I'm reading this fic, but then it's weird again. I'm reccing this series because it has great politics and good plot.
Barrayar Expects That Every Fan Will Do Their Duty: Excerpts From A Fandom by
lannamichaels
gen, 18.7k
Summary: The one where they're all in fandom.
Why I loved it: For some reason I didn't get into this the first time I read it. But I loved it the second time, when I focused less on trying to figure out who was behind which name and what their relations were and more on the fictional show. Which is great and I want to watch it, and to read ALL the fic. (Especially the porn, it sounds like a great show for porn.) And why was Olivia on the ship to begin with?
