schneefinkI thought I have to take advantage of the fact that with the timezone change for a week or two games start at midnight for me instead of 1am. Great timing!
8-3!!! Devils score a goal after nine seconds, are up 3-1 in the middle of the second period, down 3-5 after the second, and lose 3-8. Wow.
Two goals for Sid, Craig Adams scores on a breakaway (wat), Geno has an 8 game point streak, the PP went 3 for 7 (minus one SHG) and the PK 3 for 3, Maatta got his 6th point in 8 games...
Olli Maatta, seriously, that kid. Knows he likely has thyroid cancer since the beginning of the season, nobody notices anything is wrong, and he plays 20 minutes a night on the top pairing with Kris Letang. Most points of all defensemen on the team! That kid is something special. Hopefully a Penguin for a long time.
(If he got a dollar every time someone calls him "mature" or "calm"...)
I go ice skating tomorrow! (Technically today, it's 3am.) I had a bad few days and I'm not feeling up to playing hockey at the first optional class of the course, so I'm going skating with a friend. Looking forward to it.
