schneefinkI got at least the minimum of uni work done yesterday, and I got some minor things done today (including taking care of LB, who's sick, and since our parents are away suddenly I have to make sure we eat enough... I'm not even attempting "regularly".) As a reward I finally bought Saga #19.
ALANA AND MARKO ARE GOING TO SPLIT UP??? Noooo :( I really like them as a couple. Yes, it's a difficult situation, but I wanted them to make it through together :( Maybe it's just temporary?
I'm very curious about the robot kingdom. Robots giving birth?! I know it would be easiest to handwave how everything works - this is a world with magic, after all - but "magic" doesn't automatically lead to "living robots." And not only humanoid, but also cattle! How do they work? We know they give birth and shit like other organic beings, they have "blood", so we can assume they have organs, and they also have sex. Nanotechnology, something like that? Where they originally built, and who built them?
They have emotions. Their head is a screen that can show what they're thinking of, and we don't know exactly how much of it is voluntary but it doesn't seem to be completely under their control. They also have some sort of base programming, apparently, that Prince Robot IV reverts to after being injured. Can that be externally accessed? To what degree?

Hm, maybe I'll buy another chapter for about an hour of studying? And maybe one chapter for shopping and cooking. I'm kind of curious if I'll be able to stop after each chapter and not read all of the available ones at once. (In the meantime, no spoilers please!!)
ETA: I read chapter 20.The effectiveness as an incentive is greatly lowered when I'm not sure if I want to read the next chapter because I dread what will happen... The comic has been great so far, I should probably trust the creators, but still.
