Purple flowers

I used to have a flower in my room:


An African violet, a present from my mom's friend. It was very pretty, I loved it a lot, and to my great surprise (I have a terrible history with plants in my room) it bloomed twice! And then it died :(
I kept its corpse in my room for weeks, because I was too lazy to throw it away and withered flowers are also kind of pretty.



Yesterday I saw a plant that I liked in a florist and today I have a new beauty in my room:

Isn't she pretty? A succulent plant, so she should be easy to take care of and hopefully will survive a while. :)
