Talking wintersports in June
Jun. 23rd, 2019 10:03 pmPK Subban got traded again xD I'm not that into hockey anymore but sometimes fun stuff happens. To the Devils, for barely anything. The Metro is gonna be fun next year.
A few days ago the Pens traded Olli Maatta – to Chicago, of all places!! – which made me surprisingly emotional, since he used to be one of my favorite players. I want him to do well, but I don't want Chicago to do well, so *shrugs*
The NHL playoffs this year were full of plot twists: Tampa being swept, the Pens being swept by the Isles who were swept by the Canes who were swept by the Bruins, who lost in 7 to the Blues while so injured that their entire medical staff should be fired for allowing them to even play, and the Blues won their first Cup. Occasionally I remembered how excited I would have been about all this two years ago ^^ (In the ~5.5 years that I was a huge hockey fan, my team won two Cups. I had perfect timing.)
