How is it almost Christmas already

My plans for before Christmas did not include getting sick, but fortunately I'm getting better now. Saturday is the choir's Christmas concert so fingers crossed I'll be able to sing by then. The problem isn't my throat but my nose...

At least I have almost all presents sorted out. Even my Yuletide fic - well, kinda. I was hoping to get a specific prompt and did, and then later realized that shit, this is kiinda above my current skill level, which also did not help with my motivation. I eventually managed to write something I'm not ashamed of, but also not really happy with. Ah well, I still have a few days to try and polish it.

I'll have a few days off between Christmas and New Year's, which I should use to catch up on the classes I missed last week and other stuff but I'll also take at least two days of doing nothing. And there are a few museum exhibits I wanted to go to in December... I'll see if I find the time. DD is staying in Vienna for the holidays this year so hopefully we can motivate each other.
