I've been listening to more TMA episodes - it's a good thing I'm not superstitious, otherwise the battery of the ipod dying one second after "Statement ends." would be creepy. Fortunately it's not.

I'm ten episodes in and still enjoying it, and I'm not sure how much wanting to listen to more episodes contributed to me running for an hour today but it's a nice side-benefit. I'm really looking forward to finding out more about so many things, like the house on Hilltop Road, the magical serial killer, vampires… I was surprised how early it became obvious – though of course that's always easy to say in hindsight – that there were larger storylines/elements that would likely come up again, like Leitners and Jane Prentiss etc. It's very convenient that DD has listened to it already, she's currently listening to it again at my pace.

Aaand now I should get back to studying and working on my Yuletide fic.

It's so exciting to come across terms/names I recognize; and at the same time I find out that I have very little idea of most ongoing storylines, so I get to find out new things too, great combination.

Wohoo, Magnus Archives! I've taken a pause at episode 129 because while I still love it (and have a ridiculously high tolerance for horror) I am getting far too attached to the characters, and that's never good when it comes to horror protagonists XD I'm currently waiting for the series to complete before I finish, so I know that I can binge to the end and not get caught on cliffhangers.

I don't expect any of the main characters to make it out okay, but I hope they'll get a good death.

Good deaths are pretty much all one can hope for in a horror story XD I'm usually good at handling The Sad if I can listen/read through a thing all the way to the end, but cliffhangers don't agree with me when it leaves me mourning a character. Will definitely finish The Magnus Archives though, it's an excellent podcast!
