There's an active shooter situation in central Vienna and I'm just like *deep breath* fucking 2020, man.

Earlier today I updated my collection of Dice Disasters snippets with a short speculative scene with Max and Pickles about the burning question of why the hell Pickles called Max "consort to the Prince of Darkness": here.
I plan to keep updating on Mondays so I have something to look forward to on Mondays. The scene for next week is already written.

Zwingen kann man niemanden zum Homeoffice. Ich war heute normal in der Kanzlei, wie auch meine KollegInnen und der Chef. Zwei haben sich nicht reingetraut, wobei ich mich da schon frage, weshalb. Ja, es gibt eine Chance auf Nachahmungstäter, aber ich bezweifle, dass die in den nächsten Tagen in den inneren Bezirken ein Leiberl reißen. Ich hatte am Weg in die Arbeit mehrere "Kontrollposten" mit schwer bewaffneten Polizisten zu passieren, und die Wiener Linien schicken jetzt offenbar Dreierteams durch die Züge.
Wenn, dann steigt die Gefahr eines weiteren Anschlags mit der Zeit.

Unsere ganze Kanzlei war heute daheim - wir sind mitten im Ersten, und in der Früh haben sie im Radio noch geraten daheimzubleiben. Anscheinend weil sie noch immer nicht sicher waren, ob es nur ein Täter war. Eine Kollegin hat heute Nachmittag noch gesagt, dass sie sich nicht in die Öffis traut, was mich auch gewundert hat.
Bin schon sehr gespannt, wieviel Polizei ich morgen in der Innenstadt seh.
