The Legend of Vox Machina begins

I backed it on Kickstarter so I got to watch the first two episodes today! I was very excited. A little bit worried because I didn't love the clips they'd already shown, and then the first five minutes or so I was still skeptical, but then it kept getting better from there. That was so much fun, I'm delighted. The characters, and the music (!), and just finally seeing it all on screen, it was great. Are the characters types or the story special or innovative, no, but it's so well made and has so many very nice moments already and I can barely wait for the rest of the season.

Yay, that sounds so great! I backed it on Kickstarter too, but I've as of yet not managed to get the viewing to work XD (also, working a lot this week so haven't had a lot of free time to try and watch it in). So glad it was a fun watch, definitely looking forward to see the episodes for myself :D

I'm also caught up now! Enjoyed the 3 episodes a lot, especially the "I would like to rage/Your soul is forfeit/etc" direct quotes from the game now with cool animations - though as much as I'm enjoying the show, I'm definitely more a fan of the "original" because it allows for so much more build-up. Liking the voice actor they got for Gilmore!

I was glad that I enjoyed Gilmore - not sure he will show up a lot in season 1 but fingers crossed :)
