This is much harder than I thought!

1. The first character I first fell in love with
I'm not sure. It might have been Teyla? Or probably Ronon, the girl who first showed SGA to me was a huge Ronon fan and showed me his episodes first. One of the two.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Rodney. I always found him a bit irritating, then I watched season 1 for the first time and suddenly understood why people liked him.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t
I can't think of anyone, except if "everyone else" loves Carson, in that case definitely him.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Jennifer, and also Elizabeth.

5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer
Again, I can't think of anyone.

6. The character I would totally smooch
Uh. Jennifer, or Teyla.

7. The character I’d want to be like
Teyla!

8. The character I’d slap
I think I'll copy you and say Larrin.

9. A pairing that I love
Difficult. I like many pairings if I think they're well-written, and I'm very picky in that regard. Maybe John/Jennifer/Rodney.

10. A pairing that I despise
Despise is too strong, but I just cannot see the appeal of Lorne/Parrish, Stackhouse/Markham, and Lorne/Zelenka.

haha, I read a McShep Rodney whump fic once that was told from the POV of Stackhouse or Markham or maybe Parrish; anyway I felt like I was supposed to know all these other characters but I had no idea who any of them were and was kind of confused. And that, mind, was after I'd already watched the first three seasons. Then later I read about that phenomenon.

Very understandable. The first time I didn't find Parrish extremely annoying was in busaikko's John/Parrish series, and I basically treated him like an OC who happens to be a botanist. For some strange reason I often like John/minor character or John/OC better than John/major character, idk why.
